After a heart-breaking loss at Horace Mann, the water polo team recovered and blew Ethical Culture Fieldston out of the water, 20-2 at the HAB Pool Friday Oct. 9.
The first quarter ended 6-2 and after that it was only St. Benedicts. The team scored seven unanswered goals in the second quarter and took a commanding 13-2 lead into the half. The Benedict’s team never looked back after that.

Senior Dani Soares said, “ It was really enjoyable to play in a game where all the seniors were able to play.”

Senior Aaryn Dubose scored his first varsity goal in the match. Senior Ameen King was the high point man with eight goals in the match, six coming in the second quarter.

Dani said, “ All in all it was a fun game to be a part of.”
